Airport Train

I have many options to go home from Soekarno Hatta Intl Airport such as bus, taxi, and airport train. Before married, i used to take a bus, but after having a wife and a child, i prefer to use a taxi. Why? Simple, it simplified us. We can get a taxi easily in front of the arrival gate, no more waiting time, and of course it can deliver us until right in front of our house. But, we realized that it cost too much.

At Eid Fitr Holiday, after landing, we took a taxi to bring us home. When arrived home, the taxi meter showed almost 500.000 rupiahs, a big number isn’t it? My wife thought if we took a taxi in the next trip, we should prepare more cash to pay.

Our last flight from Padang, we re-thought about what transportation we should use. We considered to use airport train to Manggarai Station then continued with online taxi; or took a taxi from airport directly as usual. But if we used airport train, we would get a new experience. Then, I asked my wife to calculate and compare the cost while I took Asr prayer.
Oh ya, we didn’t have bus on the list because it took too long for us waiting the headway of the bus.

Stay Overnight at Train Station

Have you ever stayed overnight at a train station or airport?

I had ever stayed overnight at Pasarsenen Railway Station in order to be on time for my trip in the next early morning. It happened when I was a first year college student. I was invited by my senior to accompany him to go to Semarang attending a national muslim student gathering.

The train would depart at 5.45 am. So we decided to go to Pasarsenen at night and stayed there overnight. We left Bogor by Commuter Line at 9 pm since it was night, the Commuter Line was not crowded. Everything was going fine until midnight.
